Welcome
to Elgin Elementary School! At EES, parents are considered
partners in their child's education and as such are invited to
share in many aspects of their child's learning. This website
allows parents the opportunity to access important educational
information. On this site there are links to the
Elgin
Independent School District website, the
Texas Education
Agency site and the
Region 13 Education Service Center site.
These sites provide parents with information regarding the
TAKS test, the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills),
and other basic information regarding policies and operating
information. From time to time this site will be updated with
links connecting the parent to grade level information, PTO
information, library news and school events. |

The mission statement of Elgin Elementary
School is to
help students
acquire the knowledge, skills, patience and attitudes needed
to become healthy, well adjusted, productive adults; and to
add academic value to every student at every grade level in
order to send exemplary learners to Elgin secondary schools.
